Here at Everything Skateboarding, wintertime is the best time of the year. It's time to put away the skate quiver for the year, break out the tuning tools, dust off those decks and bindings, and head for the hills. Much like our skate program, our snowboard "advertisers" don't pay one red penny to be here. In fact, very few of them even know they're getting a plug. But we do it anyway, because these companies are proven leaders in their categories, and have been for eons. They're truly great companies that you can trust to consistently make good stuff. If you live on the east coast, it's almost mandatory that you love the whole Burton program. This probably goes way back to the '80s, with the whole Burton/Sims, East/West rivalry. To this day, Burton still makes some of the most bullet proof, and most beautiful stuff in the biz. They've been the leader for so long now, that we almost take it for granted. That's the best compliment that any company could ever get, right there.
I think the slogan pretty much says it all, in Hertel's case. Trust me, I've ridden it all foralmost twenty years now. There is nothing faster out there. Nothing.
Ahhh, Ride. Another snowboarding classic from the Pacific Northwest. Now owned by the corporate giants at K2, Ride still has the juice that keeps us turned on and tuned in, year in and year out.
Whenever anybody needs anything snowboard-related, and they can'tfind it locally... The House is our go-to recommendation. The best customer service anywhere (no shit, for reals), the best selection, damn good prices, and a shit-ton of freebies in every order is a combination that's impossible to beat.
